Rheumatology is a Subspeciality that deals with immune mediated & inflammatory diseases of joint, bone, muscle and connective tissues. The department of rheumatology is functional in SNHRC for the last 5 years. Outside CMC, ours is the only hospital in Vellore and surrounding districts which provides rheumatic care to patients.
