Project ‘Arogya’

Project ‘Arogya’ is a free medical camp for screening and providing basic equipment to disabled children in rural areas. ‘Arogya’ has expanded to include the provision of financial assistance to the families of 350 children who require major heart surgery every year. Free wheelchairs, tricycles, calipers, crutches and artificial limbs are provided to hundreds of physically disabled children from rural backgrounds.

Financial assistance is also provided to those in critical conditions. Under this program, many clinics were opened in various villages to render medical care to the rural populace and tribals.

Sri Narayani Hospital and Research Center is a state-of-the-art, affordable rural healthcare center established to provide quality medical care to people living in Vellore and 58 neighboring villages. It has since changed the lives of thousands of people in the region. An average of 25,000 patients visit the hospital every month and in many cases medical care is given at no cost.
